Lucknow: The award was conferred on Dr. L.P. Lal College, Sitapur Road, Lucknow by Aditya Srivastava, who secured 236th rank in the UPSC exam 2022. His parents were also honoured on the occasion by garlanding and shawls.
Delivering a motivational address to the school children, Shri Aditya said that dreams are not those which comes while sleep, but dreams are those who dont allow to sleep. It is important to have a goal in life and to achieve it hard work is necessary. Since the school gives wings to dreams, it is important to read carefully and understand.
He also awarded medals and merit certificates to Ms Payal Kanojia, Lakshya Shukla and Kumari Sonali Gautam, who secured first, second and third positions respectively in the pre-board examinations.
Among the students who recorded 100% attendance, Shri Aditya gave away the prizes to the winners of Class 10’s Ayush Verma, 4’s Aditi Verma, 1’s Shivam and Krishti Yadav and KG’s Prince.
Director S.N. Srivastava appealed to all the children to write a book of success in life with dedication and care. Speaking on the occasion, Dr Devashish highlighted the importance of health in life and said that healthy mind and mind develop in a healthy body. Therefore, all children should exercise restraint in eating.
